Easter holidays: a great time for visiting Pembrokeshire castles!

Pembrokeshire may be small, but it has plenty of history to offer, with no fewer than 12 castles to visit! The nearest (and, in our opinion, the finest) is Pembroke Castle, just a short drive from Rosemarket. There is plenty to explore here, and you can see a map of Wales laid out in the court yard - best viewed from the rapparts of course. There are plenty of events on here over the school Easter holidays, including Panic circus, a dragon day, falconry, and knight school. Also within easy reach of Rosemarket are Carew Castle nearby Tenby, where you can also visit the mill, Cilgerran castle, perched above the Teifi Gorge, and the very charming Manorbier castle - great beach at Manorbier too!
